A locally owned and sourced honey company

Bellbird Bees started in 2013 when the boys, who liked honey on their porridge, asked Mum and Dad on a visit to the Super Bee “Can we keep bees?” With the support of the Ipswich and West Moreton Beekeeper’s Association we got our first hive and many years of tutoring. Our bush honey is sieved not filtered, giving it a deeper flavour capturing the pollen and taste of Gums and Australian natives.
As a small scale operation we leave our hives in our South East Queensland Apriary year round and get to experience the seasonal flavours and colours in our honey.
We find joy in the art of keeping bees, and hope you enjoy our honey and it’s rich flavours.
